“We are a group of conflict resolution professionals who sit with other folks’ conflicts everyday. Somehow despite our familiarity with conflict, Dana was able to utilize thought provoking exercises asking us to sit with our own conflict to remind us in a visceral way not only what we experience as we navigate our conflicts but also what our clients are experiencing as we help navigate their conflicts.”

– Jen Hawthorne
Chair of the Continuing Education Committee, Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (US)

“We strongly believe that the process of building a company is fundamentally tied to the process of building a community and the approaches, tactics, skills and experience found in ‘Changing the Conversation’ have proven invaluable in the establishment and growth of our company and our community.”

“Dana Caspersen belongs to the foremost protagonists of contemporary art and culture in Europe. The opportunity to develop a project on the topic of immigration jointly between Dana and the NH ProjektStadt, a major town and project developer in the federal state of Hesse, has been a great privilege and an adventure for us.”

Director, Competence Center for Integrated Urban Development, NH Projektstadt (Germany)

“Dana’s workshop stimulated me to contemplate subtler points of my social identity. Her dialogic approach in Violence: Recode sessions at Roehampton University in London led the participants to increase their sensitivity to the position of other society members, and to recognise potential acts of oppression, which are sometimes well hidden in everyday situations. I was fascinated by Dana’s unique approach: she is a co-explorer, someone who leads by searching along with us.”

– Dr. Tamara Tomic-Vajagic
Lecturer, University of Roehampton (England)

“Dana Caspersen’s idea of bringing “Knotunknot” to Hellersdorf offered a wonderful opportunity to try a new, strongly engaging path to dialogue in the neighborhood. The district had need of the project after the still freshly traumatic experiences of 2013, which sadly accompanied the opening of a new refugee center and gained nationwide attention. Knotunknot brought together people who normally don’t have much interaction and, through these connections, generated impulses for collaboration, which continue to resonate through the new networks in our community today.”

– Elena Marburg
Integration Commissioner for Berlin-Hellersdorf (Germany)
